Hi, I'm Mel.

I'm a 34-year-old wife and mom, and I've been doing hair for 15 years now. For all those years I worked in Midlothian — but after moving to Canton four years ago and driving back and forth, it's finally time to be closer to home. I'm so excited to be settling in here at Mane Roots + Co.

I absolutely love doing hair (and yapping). My favorite specialties are lived-in color, blonde, reds, curly hair, and a good blowout. There's nothing better than helping a client find the perfect cut and color to match their personality.

When I'm not at the salon, you'll find me momming, drinking coffee, cooking, reading, and watching TV — nothing educational, of course. I can't wait to get to know a whole new Canton clientele. I can't wait to have you in my chair.

    Any style, up or down, for the special event in your life. This service does not include a hair wash — please come with clean, dry hair.

  • Event Make-up$10060 min

    Full glam or soft glam for your special event or photo session. I provide all makeup and false lashes (if you'd like them) to complete the look. Please text me personally when booking this service.
